Aastha Tiwari

Ms. Aastha Tiwari serves as an Assistant Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, where she is also the Faculty In-Charge of the Centre for Information Communication Technology and Law (CICTL). Her primary areas of teaching and research include Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Law and Environmental Law.

Ms. Tiwari has published extensively in national and international journals and presented her research at various academic and policy forums. She visited Berlin School of Economics and Law, Germany, under the prestigious DAAD Scholarship where she studied Data Protection laws. She is also associated as Visiting Faculty with the State Police Academy, Khandala, Central Academy for Police Training Bhopal and Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

Her current research explores the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Cybercrimes against Women, focusing on the emerging legal and ethical challenges in the digital age.
